Discover Linoleum: The eco-friendly flooring choice for your home
Linoleum and Marmoleum are basically the same product, with Marmoleum is the brand name of Forbo's products.
Linoleum is the world's first CO2-neutrally produced floor, with 97% natural materials, of which 72% are rapidly renewable and 43% recycled content. It is the most sustainable flat floor on the market, both beautiful for indoors and good for outdoors.
After 30 years, the cycle can begin again: the old linoleum is ground up, transported and burnt, and the energy released is used to produce new flooring. Made from linseed oil, cork, limestone, wood flour and natural dyes, this floor is an eco-friendly choice.
Having a durable linoleum floor laid
Linoleum is available in more than 168 colours, from strong to slightly marbled, and in widths of 2 metres. It can be combined endlessly and is ideal in combination with underfloor heating. The floor is strong, sound-absorbing and comfortable for your feet, with a lifespan of up to 30 years. Thanks to the binding agent Linoxyn, linoleum gains natural antistatic and antibacterial protection. This makes this durable flooring option incredibly attractive for the more sensitive areas of your space.
Maintenance is simple and efficient:
- Use Forbo Cleaner to clean your Linoleum.
- Forbo Polish creates a thin protective layer, which also seals superficial scratches.
- Use Forbo Monel for a matt floor finish. Forbo Monel has both a cleaning and protective effect and masks small imperfections. An invisible soap film remains after each maintenance service; it is removed and reapplied at each periodic maintenance service.
Choose linoleum from Amsterdams Vloerencentrum and make a responsible choice for your home with a floor that is both beautiful and environmentally friendly.
